A wee reminder — Legends don’t flush

Residents of Taupo! You’ve probably heard by now that we need to minimise water use for the next few days following a water main and wastewater pipe break on Lake Terrace. Official advice is to take very short showers, avoid doing the dishes (yay!), and only flush when necessary.

Here at the Legend office, we’ve found it a bit hard to break the habit of flushing. But we know we need to do our bit to reduce any more wastewater entering the lake. So our amazing design team created this poster to help us remember: if it’s wee, let it be!

Click here to download the poster, print it, share it, and stick it in every toilet in Taupo. Download poster.

If you live under a rock and don’t know what this is all about, check out the news on the Taupo District Council website.
